General Terms and Conditions of Sale
Purpose
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS) govern the contractual relationship between La Kasbah d’If, a hotel located in Marrakech, Morocco (hereinafter “the Hotel”), and any individual or legal entity making a reservation or staying at the Hotel (hereinafter “the Guest”).
Reservations
Any reservation implies the Guest’s full acceptance of these GTCS. A booking is confirmed only after the Hotel has received the deposit specified in the quotation. The Hotel reserves the right to cancel any reservation for which the deposit has not been paid within the stated timeframe.
Rates and Payment

Prices are quoted in Moroccan dirhams (MAD) and include all taxes except the tourist tax (MAD 50 per person per night).

Payment may be made in cash (within legal limits), by credit card, bank transfer, or any other accepted method.

Unless otherwise agreed, the balance is due upon arrival.

While rates are expressed in MAD, payment may be made in the Guest’s currency at the official exchange rate in force on the day of payment.
Cancellations and Modifications (Nightly Guests)
Free cancellation up to 30 days before arrival.
29–15 days before arrival: 50 % of the stay is due.
Less than 15 days before arrival or no-show: 100 % of the stay is due.
In cases of force majeure, the stay may be postponed once, within six months, subject to availability.
Check-in and Check-out
Rooms are available from 3:00 p.m. and must be vacated by 12:00 p.m. Late check-out is possible subject to availability and at an additional charge.
Services and Liability
The Hotel guarantees services consistent with its five-star rating. Should any service be partially deficient, reasonable compensation may be offered. The Guest is liable for any damage caused by themselves, their invitees, or companions; repair costs may be charged. The Hotel declines liability for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings not deposited in the reception safe. Guests are advised not to leave valuables unattended.
Private Hire / Events
Any event or full-property buy-out is subject to a separate contract. Management may refuse any request that could harm the property’s reputation or serenity.
Children
To preserve the tranquil, exclusive atmosphere of La Kasbah d’If, children under 16 are not admitted anywhere on the premises, except by prior written exemption.
Pets
Pets are not permitted, except duly identified guide dogs in accordance with applicable regulations.
Restaurants, Bars, and Dietary Requirements
Hotel restaurants and bars are reserved for in-house guests unless an event has been authorised. Any allergies or dietary restrictions must be declared when booking or on arrival; failing that, the Hotel accepts no liability. Outside food and beverages are prohibited unless medically required and declared in advance.
Activities and Services
On-site activities (pool, yoga, cycling, etc.) are subject to availability. Guests participate at their own risk and must use equipment appropriately. Activities arranged through the concierge are carried out by third-party providers; the Hotel is not liable for delays or incidents during such services.
Spa
Access to the Spa is reserved for hotel guests, unless otherwise agreed. Any treatment booked (massage, care, hammam, etc.) that is cancelled less than 6 hours before the appointment will be charged at 50% of the service price.
Clients must inform the hotel of any medical contraindications. The establishment declines all responsibility in case of concealment.
Personal Data
The data collected is used for the management of the stay and may be used for commercial purposes unless opposed by the Client. In accordance with Moroccan law, the Client may exercise their rights of access and rectification.
Disputes
In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought. Failing that, the competent jurisdiction shall be that of the hotel's location. The applicable law is Moroccan law.
